In addition to the twelve linen thread capsules, you will receive this cardboard display box, just like those found on the counters of old haberdasher’s shops. By folding the lid inside, the box turns into a display stand.

These twisted linen threads are waxed, meaning they have passed through a bath of beeswax and starch. They are then brushed with horsehair and stretched. The waxing process makes the thread smooth and resistant, giving it rigidity and excellent hold.
