The Droid Is Not for Sale is an “all proceeds donated” pattern I designed to balance out the lack of Rey merchandise available when Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out.

The pattern is all straight seams and snowballs, with a few templates for the funky shapes. It’s nothing you can’t sew if you can hold to a decent 1/4” seam. It finishes at 42” x 52”, which is perfect for a snuggle, or a great start to something bigger.

The pattern also includes a color chart for solids from different manufacturers, and instructions for making BB-8 at double the scale.

ALL proceeds from this pattern will be donated quarterly to Black Girls Code and ChickTech, both nonprofits dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.
