This is a paper-pieced pattern for a single Pineapple block adapted to fit in a tumbler shape.

The pattern includes three sizes: 4”, 7” and 15” finished.

The pattern is for the block only, with instructions on how to assemble it. It also includes pre-cutting fabric instructions to make assembly easier, and to minimize bias edges in the corners of the finished blocks.

The pattern assumes you have knowledge on how to do foundation paper-piecing (FPP) and does not include generic paper-piecing “how-to” instructions – please refer to my book Quilt Talk for detailed paper-piecing instructions.

The Pineapple Tumbler quilt block is a foundation paper pieced quilt block, in three sizes: 4”, 7” and 15” finished.
