Play with fabric values to make the Big Star Braid Quilt spin and glow! This is a great project to experiment with color, and Sam makes it easy for you. Big Star Braid Quilt instructions are included for both y-seam and non-y-seam construction methods. You’ll learn about each method, and decide which works best for you and your chosen background fabric. No templates are needed to make this quilt because you do all your cutting of diamonds from strips. Don’t have a ruler that is wide enough for this project? Sam shows you her technique of ruler stacking to cut the required pieces. When finished, your quilt size will be approximately 54’’ x 74’’. This is a great lap or snuggle size.
