Be careful tossing them in the recycling. When they get to the depot, it is sorted manually. You don’t want someone to cut themselves. Maybe tape them between 2 metal lids?

Me too! Works well, safely and easy to toss the contents (not the plastic crystal light container) into the “mixed metal” bin at our local recycle center, then re-use the plastic container again. Great minds . . . .

I use a plastic jar and put all my old blades, pins and needles in for disposing safely.
