It turned out so cute!! Great pattern!

Any friend of her’s, I admire also. I live outside (way) of Portland. Glad you are moving up to my territory. Hopefully I will get to meet you at some event. I read your articles about how we quilters are under valuing our work and how we can figure out the correct price to charge for a quilt. You are great!!! I am a fan now! I am going to read your blog…it’s entertaining and informative! Welcome to Oregon! I bought your Sew and Knit pins todays, by the way.

I’m a new reader to your blog but look forward to maybe meeting you in Portland! And, I adore that Alexander Henry fabric, it looks like a must for a naughty and nice style Christmas swap! 🙂

Parts to a thing- at Michaels they have some ready made small glass pendants and lots of other odd things. One pocket a pendant, another the chain, or do a whole row of charms with the chain for the bracelet or necklace or pendant (I am fond of my big silver ring w/bail that I added all sorts of things to as a talisman) at the end. Maybe space each charm/item with a chocolate so it fills up the calendar and the chain is at the end of the days. Thrift store beads, tiny plastic objects (like the ones that used to come in cracker jacks or children’s toy packs in party sections of stores) that you can easily screw the tiny jewelers screws(with circles on top) into (also avail at hardware stores), natural objects (acorns) that can be screwed into, etc. A sort of protective, funny talisman! Love you Sam!
